David Solano is not only remarkable as a person but as a teacher as well. His ability to motivate through his actions, stories and true sense of self is beyond impressive to watch in action. I've witnessed it first hand in the classroom with students as well as in his videos. His sincerity,  perseverance and determination to make a difference is evident in everything he does. He truly lives and models ,"Anything is Possible"

Coach Solano has always been a role model for myself and everyone that has had the opportunity to be around him. The perseverance and dedication to overcome obstacles in sports and school has always translated with me later in life. I appreciate being able to meet such a spectacular person.

I always tell people that David is a prime example that if you care for them you can motivate kids to do anything.  David creates 30 new Denver Bronco fans every year by truly caring for everyone of his students.

David Solano has been a coach and mentor of mine since I first stepped foot on a basketball coach at Raul H Castro Middle School. I am now a college graduate from ASU,  He started Solano's No Limit Hoops as a way for kids in the neighborhood to get away and play competitive basketball without the unwanted pressures and expectations. He has formed a great atmosphere and filled up the small court he uses at Raul H. Castro Middle School. He actively has made a huge impression on myself, and plenty of others on a day to day basis and is an extremely well versed person and coach.

Mr. Solano taught me in 4th grade and then became my basketball coach. Never in my life did I think of playing the sport of basketball, until Mr. Solano invited me to join his team. I went to practice  clueless of what I was getting myself into.  I showed up wearing my school dress uniform. Encouragement, positive coaching and leading by example were shown by Mr. Solano which kept me from giving up on playing the sport. He took the time to explain the game, taught me how to shoot a layup, how to dribble a ball, and the best part was to leave everything on the court. Due to his love for the game and wish to empower everyone he coaches. I went on to play jr high basketball with him as the assistant coach. Now he has his Solano's No Limit Hoops non profit where he offers open gym for students in the community to gain skills and participate in games and tournaments. He is a  change maker and brings positive energy to under served communities.

I have known David Solano since I was in the fourth grade. He was actually my teacher. Once I went to middle school he then became my basketball coach. He helped me become not only a better basketball player but also a better person off the court. He would motivate and inspire kids to become the best version of themselves. With Solano's No Limit Hoops it gives kids a safe place to play basketball and keep them off the streets.  He is so positive for the kids in our community.

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try!  David had a vision to help the youth in Maryvale. He put this vision into action and has now influenced so many young people.  David is an inspiration to all he interacts with in both his personal and professional life. I truly believe David lives by his own motto "Anything is Possible" and he has shown how much you can accomplish if you just try!

Coach Solano made us a go hard or go home. He made us hungry and disciplined. Our communication was always on the same page.  We never got tired. All because he made us believe. We won all our games and took home a championship.  He made us believe "Anything is Possible."
